Jefferson County Rural Water District # 13
was founded nearly 30 years ago, and
now supplies water to more than 850 homes and area businesses in the area, about
80% of the water for the City of McLouth, and all of the water for Leavenworth
Water District # 10. The business office building is located at 1951 Wellman
