VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT RECRUITING PROCESSES

Thank you to all who have shown an interest in volunteering and those attending the volunteer orientation. All of those and anyone else who couldn't make it to the orientation meeting are urged to attend the regular fire department training sessions held the first Thursday of each month, at the 21st street fire station or the regular department meeting held the third Tuesday at the 21st street fire station. See meetings.

The Sarcoxie Township Fire Department needs your help! Help comes in many shapes and sizes. Of course we need volunteers to train and join the existing Department. But we also need people to assist with non-emergency tasks, and to help with the recruiting process. Perhaps within your friendship circles you can find the time to call someone who you think may be interested and potentially qualified. If you want to volunteer, email a Board member. If you want to help recruit, make your list and use your phone.
