SARCOXIE TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT #4 FIRE CORPS

The Sarcoxie Township Fire Corps is an organization formed to assist the volunteer fire departments both physically when able and financially. We have raised money in order to do this in the past with our annual auction and chili feed, sponsoring a concession stand, and this year we will assist another Sarcoxie organization, Sunnyside School, with their concession stand at the Rimrock Farm track meet.

MISSION STATEMENT

To serve the Sarcoxie Township Volunteer Fire Department and community by providing volunteer resources supporting the overall goal of safety protecting lives and property through education, communication and general interaction between the department and the community.

VISION STATEMENT

To support the Sarcoxie Township Volunteer Fire Department with and through training and education activities, fund raisers and physical and emotional support during fire and/or emergency events as a unified team.

If our Mission and Vision Statements sound like an organization you could support and would like to be a part of, then we invite you to join us as a member of our team. We encourage new ideas for fund raisers and want your input as a member as to how are funds are distributed. We are always looking for help, ideas, and new members. Come join us on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm at fire station #2, 21st and Union streets and become a supporter of this new organization and get acquainted with your neighbors.
